We love you Scouty Babe!

Scouty Babe went to be with Jesus today. She fell asleep and awoke with a new healthy body in a new place (with no stinky dogs). We miss her terribly, but will always remember her spunk and her cuddles.

I have found a few pictures, and they are somewhat out of order. Scout loved her "cat nap" Wally made for her. She spent a lot of time in it while she was sick.
This is the earliest picture I could find of Scout (she was born before the days of digital cameras). These were perhaps her favorite days when we lived in grad housing (without stinky dogs).
OK, now the pictures go backwards through time. Once Wally was born, the pictures of Scout were greatly reduced and hard to find. Up to the end, she loved sleeping with Wally.
Though Wally was never able to carry Scout as she was always a bit wild and was comfortable using her "death razors," Wally loved her.
Scout was the first member of our family and she saw it grow and change a lot. Though she didn't appreciate the moves or the addition of Moose, Oly, or Daisy, she loved Wally and always like to be on our laps when we cuddled Wally.
A favorite place for Scout in our Bozeman house was at the top of the stairs in the sun.
Right from the get go, Scout was the boss. She is probably the reason Moose is so timid of other animals.
Scout taught the dogs to like bananas. We think she might have picked up this taste when we first got her. She was tiny and sick and the medicine we had to give her was banana flavored.
No matter where we lived, Scout always liked to be with us when we worked on the computer.
Scout was a cat like no other and we miss her terribly. Maybe she just didn't want to have to deal with 2 more little kids. Good night Scouty Babe, love you!
