Random stuff in January

Wally enjoyed his last "free happy meal for a year" at the end of December.
He has grown a bit since his first "free happy meal for a year" in April 2010.
Wally loves his Lego Minotaurus game from Gramma Kathy. He'll even play by himself. However, since this picture was taken, he has modified it and made it into a Star Wars game with Jedi, Storm Troopers, and Darth Vader.
What better thing to do on an early-January day than to wash the car on the green grass. This has not been a normal winter...where is the snow?
I took this from the roof of the house as I was taking Christmas lights down. Shortly after this, the camera fell out of my pocket, bounced down the garage roof, and landed on the cement below. Amazingly, with a little duct tape, the camera still works. Go Canon!
Me and my boy.
Wally loves his Lego truck that delivers Legos from Great Gramma Camilla.
Joel had told Wally about how he got to sleep under the Christmas tree with his cousin Alaina when they were kids. Wally had been wanting to do that all Christmas. So, on New Year's Eve, he got to sleep under our tree. He did a great job sleeping and thought it was great. I'm guessing this will be a tradition. On a hike, Wally found a mushroom of sorts that looked like an ear.
Taking a decent picture of 2 kindergarten boys is impossible. Wally has made a good friend in Sam.
Wally gets to practice his driving at the farm. Maybe by the time he gets his license, his attention span will have increased!
If there is a way to climb a tree, Wally will. Or at least try.
We had a nice, but chilly, January picnic on this huge stump.
Happy Gena! (AKA Merry Christmas in Ethiopia on Jan 7). We had a delicious meal of Ethiopian food. Wally even asked if I would make it again!
Wally with Brother and Sister Bear.
To make up for all of Wally's happy meals, we let him watch TV to make sure he doesn't get fat.

Truly his father's son. Wally was intentionally wearing his "cap" sideways. Can't wait for next Christmas!
